Lyndon Smith is currently the Saskatchewan Area Manager for Running Room Canada. This was preceded by a lengthy career in the production industry (audio, video, and photography). Lyndon has competed in national championships in track, cross country, and road racing. He hopes to help athletes reach their potential, and to foster a lifestyle of health and fitness.

Athlete Profile:

·         Member of Athletics Canada/Saskatchewan Athletics as a coach & masters athlete

·         Former provincially carded 1500 meter runner (Saskatchewan Athlete Assistance Program)

·         Former U of S Huskies Track Athlete (2 years) & Cross Country Runner (3 years). Competed on Huskies A Teams in 5 Canada West and 1 CIAU Championships.

·         Bronze Medalist – 2010 Canadian Masters 10 km Road Racing Championships (age 45-49)

·         Provincial Track Open Men’s Medals: Gold (4x100 relay), silver (1500 m), bronze (800 m)

·         Regina Downtown Dash Champion (31:10 10 km road race)

Coaching:

·         NCCP Trained Sport Coach for Competitive Athletics

·         Honours Sports Psychology Thesis: Mental Imagery & Running Performance

·         Currently Manages all Saskatchewan Clinics for the Running Room

·         Coached 5 km & Learn To Run Programs

·         Coached Female Canadian Champion – Master’s 10 km Road Racing (2010, age 50-54)
